2010 Syrah Wine, Upslope

Each vintage we taste through all the reserve barrels destine for our Vineyard Designated wines. We typically select the six barrels of wine that, when blended together, would capture the highlight of the vintage. Each year is a blend of vineyards, clones, and winemaking style including some new oak barrels, some whole cluster fermented fruit, and our most concentrated and expressive barrels. We tasted through 107 reserve 2010 Syrah barrels to produce this wine !
